4th Journal
My senior year is exceeding my expectations that I had so far. I got all the classes that I requested and I am satisfied with both the rigor and people who are in them. Although it does seem that it will most likely be my most difficult year at Lindsay High School in terms of the sheer classes, I am really excited for the challenge that’s ahead. I know that if I give my best effort I will be able to succeed. At this point I have not yet applied to any college or university but I have begun researching. However, UC personal statement prompts have been released and I have already viewed them and I am currently in the brainstorming process. I’m barely at the beginning of my Senior year and I still have a long road ahead of me. Knowing that at this point in time I am on pace to graduate is soothing for my mind. If all goes well, there should be no reasoning that I shouldn’t graduate. As a matter of fact I also plan on graduating with CSF Honors. One obstacle that still stands in my way in order to graduate is my Senior project. Currently I am working on my fourth and fifth journals and uploading my job shadow. Moving forward, I most excited this year for graduation. Despite this, I don’t necessarily intend that statement with a malicious matter towards the school. Instead, I am excited for graduation in order to be able to reflect and see what I was able to accomplish. I hope to be able to reflect onto being accepted into the school of my choice and graduating with CSF honors. As a result, these reflections that I hope to have are the reason that these are my goals. This goal however, is only part of an ultimate goal that will carry over into college. One day I hope to enter the business field even though I am unsure of what specific career path I want to pursue at the moment.
